I create my works based on the creative theory of “bricolage-β “ . I hope that this will lead to not only visual creation but also conceptual creation. The motifs of my reacent works are ofte-n based on the history and climate of Okushiri island.
縄文時代から奥尻島を経由地にして、海獣の毛皮やアワビを交易の品として、やりとりをしてきたオホーツク人や和人やアイヌ人や擦文人などと海岸の漂着物を重ねています。
